During the making of my E-sting , I had one constraint which was copy write, the reason that there is copy wright in my video is because of the use of Lego, Lego is a trademark toy used in a lot of adverts but because I have no legal right to use it I shouldn't had used it without asking the Lego industry to use their product. which is a legal issue , as for a regulatory issue I have read through ofcom's broadcasting code and I have not broken any of the rules of the ofcom broadcasting code.
The genre of the animation is urban genre and the audience is aimed at younger kids as its only meant to be shown during the daytime as E4 does. The content of the animation is a man going and purchasing items out of a vending machine, one of the items happens to be the E4 logo.
The style of the animation is claymation, the claymation of the animation is my character and the E4 logo. the development of the character took me a while as I didn't know
I will review my animation in a written report because it is easier to describe details and you can write as much as you want. I want to describe all the hard work I put into making this vending machine and how I made the clay figure and explain in full detail on what the reviewers had written for me to read through
The people reviewing this has left me very generous comments and saying how nice and smoothly it ran , a majority of the reviewers knew what an E-sting was while a few had no idea what one was, both parties watched it and left what they had thought of it and so far no bad comments.
In this question I had asked the audience if they knew what the character was doing, Most of them replied Yes but one of the reviewers had put , "Yeah he was putting what I think must be a coin into the vending machine and the machine dispensed an E4 logo "
I also asked if the audience thought there was enough character movement , most of them said it was okay but a few said that I could have done with putting more life into the claymation which i completely agree with.
I asked the groups if they thought there was any way the character could be improved . The audience responded with It could use more detail in the face, He needs hand and Nope! he is perfect.
I asked if the E-sting ran smoothly and they responded with"Sometimes it did and sometimes it didn't" and others replied "It was a bit choppy here and there" Which means I need to put less space in my movements and keep the monster close together and make it Look at good and great as Jamies.
2) I managed my time pretty well, I got the animation completed on time, my time frame was two weeks planning , two weeks filming and then two weeks editing in which i managed to complete it on time.
3) I did meet the requirements of the brief , I checked through the list that is on the E4 website to see if I had done it correctly. The list can be found on the channel four website
4)I obtained feedback by my classmates, my tutors and my family. The general tone was serious but there were a few people as expected who put some silly answers instead of being serious.
5) I have learn that I do not want to do any stop motion animation in the future as it took ages and im not every good at making characters.
6)I do not think I would be a good candidate as I do not do my work and always have to end up getting extensions from my touters.
7) I do not think I will be taking animation further , I do not think it will be a viable career choice as I am not very good at animation.
Sam, this is brief but you have demonstrated an attempt to collect audiences responses and evaluate them.
