E4 has been around since 2001 so it has been on television for 13 years


































The list of programmes that are on e4 as well as some american TV shows. You have The inbetweeners, Come dine with me , the IT crowd , How I met your mother , The big bang theory. and many more .
The target audience is Adults as there is a lot of adult humor in the programmes which children will not understand until they reach a certain age.


As for example on the picture , if they are about 10-11 and might have not watch star wars they will not not who Yoda is and get the joke being made.









The Secondary audience is young adults as the adult humor is funny to them and they understand it , there are also shows about teenagers that appeal to more of the younger adults as they are closer to the age of the characters on the show. For example A show called misfits where some teenagers are hit by a thunderstorm and gain superpowers









The other channels owned by E4 are channel 4 who's target audience are mothers and children as there are cooking shows and the Simpsons,

Film 4 , Film 4 to me seems like the target audience is adults as the movies they run are quite old , such as dirty harry and pulp fiction

More 4 , More 4's target audience is people who like soaps , so young adults as they like the drama that goes on during the show.

4 Music , The two most popular artists that occur the most are Taylor swift and Ed shearan which means the target audience would be teenagers.



















An E sting is to remind us what channel we are on.

By viewing E stings from channel four already and seeing that it is only through adverts it is funded, the e stings are not long but are made in so many different ways such as , claymation , animation ,papermation and time lapse photography. Here are a few examples of the e stings.
The genre of the horse is adult because the horse is taking of his clothes attempting to arract another horse , the audience will be teenagers as adults will think "what did I just watch" and the content is a horse singing quickly to another horse. I liked how random the video was.

The genre of the E-sting is action because so much happens, this is a stop motion animation which makes it pretty cool as they would need everything that happened in the video as props.


The genre of this animation is action again as so much is going on , it is random and made completely from clay.
