2) Pokemon was made in the year 1996 ^
3) The Pokemon in the first order are ; Rhydon was the first Pokemon coded , Arceus was the first Pokemon (God). Bulbasaur is the first Pokemon in the pokedex and Mew was apparently the creator of Pokemon (Made them) [ There is no website that contains this information ]
4) Pokemon is such a big hit it has been put into many other games as mods For example, minecraft is a massive one for its known mod. Pixelmon which is basically Pokemon put into the game of minecraft and its pretty popular.
It is so popular among the community that when a site called Twitch or Twitch plays which had recently uploaded a file of the Pokemon game : Red . It was so popular it had over 30,000 people playing it at once to control the one character, all sorts of mishaps were going on and many viewers were getting frustrated.
Another site that shows the fans of Pokemon is Reddit. It is where fans post pictures that others are able to view A link is here > http://www.reddit.com/r/pokemon/ .Primary Research.
Primary research is where your research comes from you searching for it for example a survey or searching the internet for the answers that you seek. It consist of a collection of primary data that the researcher has collected.
What did I do ?
I did a documentary on Pokémon and the reason I done it on Pokémon was because I have grown up with Pokémon and many teenagers my age still play it , I wanted to show people that Pokémon isn't just for little kids but more for teenagers then most of the audience it is made for. For example
Well for one of my examples is my survey for which I cannot get onto for some reason as I have been locked out of my account but these were the questions on there. http://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/107134OUKZY. This was AUDIENCE RESEARCH.
Secondary research
Secondary research is where you use the internet to be able to search for the research you need and for any information regarding your documentary.
The websites that I had used are linked below;
http://www.serebii.net/
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Dl7YF5Mr8Q This was PRODUCTION RESEARCH.
I also set up some interviews with people I have seen around collage playing Pokémon , I got all of my interviews and I got most of my information that I needed to get and Finnish the documentary this is also counted as production reasearch
Another piece of secondary research I did was MARKET RESEARCH There was a lot of documentaries on channel four about 18% and that is pretty high for a documentary I was able to research that.
The current laws in the UK are that if you wish to film anything IE, public land or stunts you will need to constant the police to let the know, if they do not allow you to use any items or film there , you are not allowed to.
You need to consider libel and defamation because it is against the law to use them in the wrong context and could be fined and even sent to prison.
I am not risking the infringement of the ofcom broadcasting code because i have gone over the laws and i have not broken any of them.
I have read the viewers trust guidelines and I don't see any points that I have done wrong in this documentary.
